B2D adding additonal Storage Space

I am a B2D that has 32TB of storage.  I will be adding additional disk (6TB) to the array.  I can use the array utilities to add the disks and extend the partitional through Windows 2008.  I will be changing the RAID configuration so I will delete the Logical drive and re-create it. 

In BE, once the partition has been extended, will BE B2D (2012 SP1) see the extra space or do I have to delete the B2D and re-create it? 

In the coming months I will be adding another 6TB but the RAID configuration will not be changed so I'm wondering the same thing, any time the physcial B2D disk size changes, does B2D need to be deleted and then re-created to pick up the change in size?
