restore to new server - what about Windows licensing, will it work?

Hi,

I have BE 2010 R2 on a Windows 2008 R2 server.  I am going to replace the server.  I have the Intelligent Disaster Recovery option available and I intend to use that and boot the new server with it.  I am wondering what will happen as far as Windows Server 2008 is concerned when it is running on different hardware.

1) Will it run at all?

2) Will the Windows OS license be valid still or do I need to do something special to deal with the move to new hardware?
