I know where it is supposed to be, I have used it before, but for this customer there is no "restore to alternate location/hardware" tab/option when trying to restore.
The backups are on disk, I have a new server with Windows 2003 (just like the original) and the backup agent on it. I can see it in BackupExec, but when I attempt to restore and want to do so to an alternate location the option/tab is not presented.
Additionally, if I rename the "bare" server to the previous server name/IP, when I submit the restore job I pretty much immediately receive a "The job failed with the following error: User canceled a Physical Volume Library operation." message.
Again, these are disk based backups, and I have confirmed that the backup set is on the disk and available to be restored.
